Milly In Motion Expands Its Mission

​

Hey guys - it’s Milly - I’ve got something exciting to share, and honestly… this one feels really big!

 

When my mom and I started Milly In Motion back in 2022, it was just the two of us trying to create the kind of adaptive movement space I needed but couldn’t find. What began as a mother–daughter mission for people with cognitive and developmental disabilities has grown into something so much bigger.

 

Over the past two years, we saw something important:

 

People across the full spectrum of disabilities were looking for a place where movement felt safe, professional, and made for them.

 

That’s when we realized our mission needed to grow too.

 

So today, I’m excited to share our updated mission - one that finally reflects who we’ve already become:

Milly In Motion removes barriers to adaptive movement so individuals with disabilities can choose the fitness and wellness path that’s right for them.

This mission feels right. It honors every person who has trusted us with their journey.

 

And it strengthens our commitment to:

• accessible, professional adaptive fitness

• dignity‑centered movement opportunities

• choice, autonomy, and empowerment

• removing financial, physical, and access barriers

• serving individuals across the full spectrum of disabilities

 

Our vision stays the same - A future where individuals with disabilities can pursue health and wellness without limits. Because limits were never the point. Access was.
